The men’s ministry has been established to encourage men to walk in the fullness of the calling that God has placed on their lives, whilst exercised in all the fruits of the spirit ie., love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, faith, meekness, temperance and endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Pilate looked on Jesus our Lord, having allowed his men to mockingly place a crown of thorns on his head and clothed him with a purple robe and ignorantly presented Jesus as a King and said “Behold the man” – not knowing that this was indeed the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the ultimate man, a true man amongst men. Likewise the world should look on the Born Again believer and say “Behold the man of God” and be drawn to him. Men of the Spirit – Raising the standard, fighting the good fight of faith
