This policy ensures safeguarding compliance, data protection alignment, and responsible stewardship of the ANFC brand.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

It applies to staff, trustees, volunteers, contractors, and authorised media team members.

SECTION A: Photography & Filming

3. Recording at Services and Events

ANFC regularly photographs and records services and events for ministry, communication and archival purposes.

Recording may take place in:

  • The main auditorium
  • Event spaces
  • Outdoor church activities

Visible signage will be displayed when recording is in progress.

4. How Media Content May Be Used

Images and recordings may be used for:

  • Live streaming
  • Website content
  • Social media platforms
  • Event promotion
  • Church publications
  • Internal communications

Content will always be used respectfully and in a manner consistent with Christian values.

5. Consent and Camera-Free Seating

By entering the main auditorium during a recorded service, individuals acknowledge they may appear in footage.

If an individual does not wish to appear on camera:

  • Stewards can guide them to designated camera-free seating areas.
  • Individuals may contact the church office to raise specific concerns.

We aim to balance openness in ministry with personal privacy considerations.

6. Children and Young People

ANFC places safeguarding at the highest priority.

  • Written parental or guardian consent is required before identifiable images of children are published online or in print.
  • Full names of children will not be published alongside images.
  • Youth activities will follow additional safeguarding oversight.

Any safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately to the designated Safeguarding Lead.

SECTION B: Live Streaming & Broadcast

7. Live Streaming Notice

ANFC broadcasts services and selected events via digital platforms including:

  • YouTube
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Other approved platforms

By remaining within the primary filming areas during a live service, individuals acknowledge that they may be included in live or recorded footage.

Recordings may remain available online after the event concludes.

8. Online Interaction

Where live chat features are enabled:

  • Comments may be moderated.
  • Inappropriate, abusive, or harmful comments will be removed.
  • Users engaging in harmful behaviour may be blocked.

We aim to create a respectful and faith-filled online environment.

SECTION C: Social Media Governance
